For over 150 years, the King’s Own has stood as a proud symbol of musical excellence, tradition and community at the heart of the Dominican family. Built upon the dedication of generations of members, musicians and volunteers, our Society continues to preserve a rich heritage while embracing the future with confidence and ambition.
Beyond music, the King’s Own remains a place of belonging, friendship and shared purpose. Through its contribution towards the celebration and growth of the Feast of our beloved patron, St. Dominic, its commitment to musical education, and the social and cultural space it offers to the community, the Society continues to play an active role in shaping and strengthening our traditions.
As we continue our journey following the celebration of our 150th anniversary, we also look ahead through new initiatives, including our renewed digital presence and membership platform, aimed at bringing members closer together and opening the doors of the Society to future generations.
